First, create the virtual machine with Vista as the operative system and set it boot from the DVD or ISO image at the BIOS of the virtual machine.

Once booted select your Regional settings and click “Next” to continue.

Click “install now” to begin

Select “I accept the license terms” and click “Next” to continue.

Select the virtual disk you created with the virtual machine and click “Next” to continue.

Type a user and computer name and click “Next” to continue.

Type the password for the new user and click “Next” to continue.

Type the product key and click “Next” to continue.

Click on “Use recommended settings” to continue.

Set the time zone and click “Next”

Select the location of your computer.

Start using your new virtual machine!
